Job summary

Formative 3D in Falls Church, VA is seeking a Production Technician to support post-processing and production at our new facility. You will use hand tools and power tools to finish 3D-printed parts, handle materials, and assist with general shop operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on tool experience, can follow SOPs precisely, and is able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

Experience using hand tools and power tools is required.
Ability to follow instructions, measurements, and standard operating procedures.
Physically capable to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
Willingness to work weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform post-processing tasks on 3D-printed parts, including drilling, hole cutting, sanding, deburring, trimming, and finishing.
Safely operate hand tools and power tools to drill, cut, and finish materials.
Move, stage, and organize raw materials, finished products, and supplies throughout the facility.
Follow work instructions and SOPs to ensure quality and consistency.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop floor and handle scrap disposal and recycling.
Assist with basic assembly, material handling, and general production support as needed.
Help restock consumables and organize tools and storage areas.
Adhere to safety procedures and PPE requirements.
