Job summary

Hatch is seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Designer in Houston, TX to join our Project Delivery Group. You will develop 3D models and 2D drawings, coordinate with the lead engineer, and ensure timely, quality deliverables across industrial projects in the metals, energy, and infrastructure sectors.

The role requires a diploma in Instrumentation/Electronics and 10+ years of design experience, with strong knowledge of Bentley tools (BRCM, MicroStation) and SP3D/SPR.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Instrumentation/ Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of engineering design experience.
• Proficiency with Bentley 3D modeling tools (BRCM, MicroStation).
• Experience with SP3D and Smart Plant Review (SPR).

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Hatch safety culture and project standards.
• Develop and produce 3D models, 2D drawings and MTO deliverables in Bentley environment.
• Coordinate with lead engineer to ensure timely deliverables.
• Review designs for quality and compliance with standards.
• Prepare design concepts for internal/client reviews and produce detailed drawings.
