Job summary

Quanta Services, Inc. is seeking an Engineer Designer to contribute to piping design for natural gas transmission and distribution projects.

The role interfaces with a multidisciplinary engineering team to produce 3D models, drawings, and isometric views from concept design through project delivery. The ideal candidate will have 1+ year experience with AutoCAD, CADWorx, and a strong understanding of P&ID concepts, codes, and project documentation.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience using AutoCAD.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Able to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D piping models using CADWorx Plant 2020 or newer.
• Conceptualize and lay out equipment and piping from a P&ID.
• Develop drawings and concept sketches for construction.
