Job summary

Gem Care, Inc. is seeking a 3D Drafter/Designer for a 3-6 month contract in Knoxville, TN. The ideal candidate has extensive 3D CAD drafting experience, with Onshape proficiency being a huge plus. The role is a first-shift position with a starting pay rate of $26.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include mechanical and electrical design within 3D CAD packages and converting older drawings into Onshape CAD, in a heavy industrial setting around large equipment.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in drafting and design or equivalent level of experience and training
• 3+ years of 3D CAD modeling
• Experience with Onshape 3D CAD Modeling is a huge plus
• Strong communication skills
• Proficient in Mechanical and Electrical Design

Responsibilities

• Mechanical and Electrical designs within 3D CAD packages.
• Will also be responsible for converting older drawings into Onshape 3D CAD.
• Working in a Heavy Industrial setting around large Heavy Duty equipment is required.
