Job summary

WSB is seeking a Geospatial Data Specialist to extract 3D features from mobile LiDAR and imagery, producing GIS-ready datasets aligned to project schemas. You will QA data, develop repeatable workflows, and collaborate with project teams to ensure delivery on schedule.

Key qualifications include 2+ years in mobile mapping, strong spatial awareness, and proficiency with Mach9, TopoDOT, and ArcGIS Pro. Occasional travel and onsite work may be required.

Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering, GIS, or related discipline, with at least 2 years mobile mapping data processing and 3D feature extraction.

Responsibilities

Extract 3D vector features from mobile LiDAR, imagery, and aerial datasets.
Perform feature extraction and quality assurance using Mach9 and TopoDOT.
Produce accurate vector datasets in GIS/CAD formats.
Review and validate geometry and attributes, ensuring data quality and consistency.
Develop repeatable extraction workflows for recurring project types.
Support peer review and communicate progress, risks, and challenges to leadership.
Stay current with mobile mapping advancements and suggest workflow improvements.
Adhere to QA, safety, and data management standards.
