Unified Mammography Services is seeking a Mammography Technologist for its Akron, OH office. The role performs 3D digital mammography to assist in diagnosis and requires ARRT registration and mammography certification. Must work independently with strong problem solving and English communication skills.

The position includes a schedule on Fridays with coverage as needed, and comprehensive benefits to support health, retirement, and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
• ARRT Registration R.T.(R) is required.
• ARRT Mammography (M) certification is required.
• State license (if applicable).
• Minimum two years of mammography experience preferred.
• Must communicate effectively in English.
• Role requires reading and writing in English for documentation.

Responsabilités

• Perform 3D digital mammography imaging and quality control procedures.
• Ensure proper functioning of mammography equipment and address malfunctions.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail during procedures.
• Communicate with radiologists regarding mammographic exams.
• Interpret mammographic images and verify patient information.
• Complete paperwork and patient information requirements promptly.
• Complete medical records, including consents, billing, and supply monitoring.
• Ensure timely delivery of mammography results and escalate when needed.
• Maintain MQSA and ACR compliance and continuing education requirements.
