Job summary

Unified Women’s Healthcare is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform 3D digital mammography across affiliated Illinois practices, including Park Ridge and surrounding centers. The role requires independence, accuracy, and MQSA/ACR compliance.

The position offers part-time hours (about 30 hours per week) with opportunities to collaborate with radiologists and imaging leadership to ensure high-quality breast imaging services.

Qualifications

• Perform mammography imaging and quality control procedures.
• Good knowledge and understanding of mammography.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems.
• Maintain high level of accuracy in patient records and imaging.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography imaging and quality control procedures.
• Ensure proper functioning of mammography equipment and address malfunctions.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail during all procedures.
• Communicate with radiologists regarding mammographic exams.
• Interpret mammographic images and verify patient information for accuracy.
• Complete necessary medical records, consents, billing and supply monitoring.
• Ensure timely delivery of mammography results and escalate if needed.
• Support MQSA and ACR compliance through ongoing education.
