Job summary

Unified Mammography Services, a subsidiary of Unified Women’s Healthcare, seeks a Per Diem Mammography Technologist Float for its Miami and Wellington offices. You will perform 3D digital mammography, ensure equipment quality, and support a high‑standard breast imaging service within an OBGYN practice network.

The role requires ARRT Mammography (M) and ARRT RT(R) registration, plus English communication and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
• ARRT Registration R.T.(R) Required.
• ARRT Certification in Mammography (M) Required.
• State Department of Radiation Control License (if applicable).
• Maintain registry status and continuing education.
• Minimum two years of mammography experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English as required by job duties.
• Must be able to understand and follow safety instructions provided in English.
• Reading and writing in English to complete documentation, reports, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to interact with customers, clients, or regulators in English as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography imaging and quality control procedures.
• Ensure proper functioning of mammography equipment and address any malfunctions.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail during all procedures.
• Communicate with radiologists regarding mammographic exams.
• Interpret mammographic images, assess quality, and verify patient information.
• Accurately complete all patient information requirements and necessary paperwork.
• Complete administrative tasks to ensure timely exam interpretation.
• Complete necessary medical records, including consents, billing, and supply monitoring.
• Ensure timely delivery of mammography results, escalating to management or a radiologist when results exceed standard turnaround times.
• Support the manager in maintaining MQSA and ACR requirements.
• Adhere to and maintain continuing education requirements mandated by MQSA.
• All other job requests as assigned by the Mammography Operations Manager, Director of Imaging Operations, or Care Center Administrator.
