Job summary

Unified Mammography Services, a part of Unified Women’s Healthcare, is seeking a Mammography Technologist for its Cary, NC location. The role performs 3D digital mammography, conducts quality control, and supports radiologists in exams with MQSA/ACR compliance.

The ideal candidate has an accredited radiologic sciences background, ARRT certifications in radiography and mammography, and at least two years of mammography experience. Excellent English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
• ARRT Registration R.T.(R) Required.
• ARRT Certification in Mammography (M) Required.
• State Department of Radiation Control License (if applicable).
• Minimum two years of mammography experience preferred.
• English communication required for duties and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform 3D digital mammography and quality control procedures.
• Ensure proper functioning of mammography equipment and address malfunctions.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail during all procedures.
• Communicate with radiologists regarding mammographic exams.
• Accurately complete patient information and necessary paperwork.
• Complete administrative tasks and ensure timely exam interpretation.
• Maintain MQSA and ACR compliance.
• Support the manager in regulatory requirements.
