Job summary

Jacobs in the United States seeks a highly skilled 3D Geospatial & Civil Design Specialist to bridge geospatial intelligence, master planning, and Civil 3D delivery for complex manufacturing, data center, and infrastructure projects.

You will collaborate with planners, engineers, surveyors, BIM/VDC professionals, and project teams to develop scalable workflows leveraging geospatial data from due diligence through detail design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, GIS, Geospatial Engineering, Surveying, Engineering Technology, or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• 10+ years of experience supporting civil design, geospatial modeling, or digital delivery initiatives.
• Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Civil 3D, Forma, ArcGIS, ACC, Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and related tools.
• Strong understanding of coordinate systems, survey data, georeferencing, and spatial data management.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain Civil 3D project environments, templates, standards, and data structures for multidisciplinary project teams.
• Configure and manage Civil 3D models, surfaces, alignments, corridors, grading, utility, and site development workflows.
• Develop and maintain data-referenced Civil 3D environments that support collaboration across design disciplines.
• Manage coordinate systems, survey information, and model integration between Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, and related Autodesk platforms.
• Support project teams through schematic design, design development, and construction phases.
