Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a highly skilled 3D Geospatial & Civil Design Specialist to join our Digital Delivery team in the United States. The role focuses on bridging geospatial intelligence, master planning, and Civil 3D project delivery from due diligence through detailed design.

You will collaborate with planners, engineers, surveyors, BIM/VDC professionals, and project teams to develop scalable workflows leveraging geospatial data for site selection and civil design decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in civil engineering, geomatics, GIS, or related field.
10+ years of experience in civil design, geospatial modeling, or digital delivery.
Advanced proficiency with Civil 3D, Forma, ArcGIS, ACC, Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
Strong understanding of coordinate systems, survey data, georeferencing, and spatial data management.
Experience supporting site due diligence, feasibility studies, and master planning.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain Civil 3D project environments, templates, standards, and data structures for multidisciplinary teams.
Configure Civil 3D models, surfaces, alignments, corridors, grading, utilities and site development workflows.
Develop data-referenced Civil 3D environments supporting collaboration across design disciplines.
Manage coordinate systems, survey information, and model integration with BIM/CAD platforms.
Support schematic design through construction phases.
