Martin Sprocket & Gear in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a full-time CAD Drafter to create assembly and layout drawings of belt conveyor components using Autodesk Inventor. You will also enter items in our ERP, including BOMs and production routes, collaborating with engineers and production teams to meet deadlines.

Candidates should have an associate degree or equivalent, with 3D drafting skills in Inventor; AutoCAD a plus, attention to detail, and willingness to work Saturdays.

Competenze

• 3D drafting skills: Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D modeling software is required.
• Supplemental experience in 2D AutoCAD is a plus.
• Attention to detail: Strong focus on accuracy and effective communication in all tasks.
• Availability: Full‑time with occasional Saturday overtime; adherence to attendance and company policies.
• Mechanical knowledge: Familiarity with basic machining practices and materials is a plus, as is general mechanical knowledge.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Reliability and accuracy: Commitment to reliable work with a high standard of accuracy in drawings and specifications.

Mansioni

• Generate assembly and layout drawings of equipment in a fast‑paced work environment to respond to customers’ needs.
• Generate and nest flat pattern work for laser cutting.
• Work within the ERP system to generate BOMs and routes for production through the shop.
• Communicate with Planning and Production Control.
• Collaborate with project engineers and other departments to meet deadlines on projects.
• Work safely and wear all required PPE in safety‑sensitive areas.
