Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of mechanical drafting experience preferred.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks (2013 through current versions).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong mathematical skills, including algebra, trigonometry, and physics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D cabinet designs using SolidWorks.
• Develop and revise customer quotes as needed.
• Communicate directly with customers and sales representatives regarding project specifications.
• Design custom cabinetry solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Assist customers in identifying installation requirements and specifications.
• Coordinate with customer service to ensure accurate order entry.
• Translate 3D drawings into Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) programs.
• Run simulations and tests to verify program accuracy.
• Prepare geometric layouts using software such as Ongaa Cam, Cut Rite, and Wood Wop (preferred).
• Collaborate with the cabinet shop to ensure proper construction and assembly of custom cabinets.
