About the Role

We’re looking for a versatile and self-driven 3D Generalist to join our Generative AI (GenAI) workstream. This role is ideal for an artist who thrives in rapid prototyping environments, enjoys cross-functional collaboration, and is passionate about using generative AI to shape the future of creative tools and workflows.

What You’ll Do

Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and fellow artists to prototype GenAI-driven 3D content
Build stylized props, character assets, and objects aligned with our visual goals
Apply and refine AI-generated outputs (e.g., textures, meshes) to meet production-quality standards
Support both real-time and offline rendering pipelines through lighting and look development
Provide feedback on emerging GenAI tools and help define optimal artist workflows
Create visual guides, documentation, and references to scale learnings across teams

What We’re Looking For

4+ years of professional experience as a 3D Generalist or in a similar role within games, film, or XR
Strong proficiency in modeling, UVs, texturing, and look development using tools like Maya, Blender, ZBrush, Substance, etc.
A solid understanding of stylized art direction and how to apply it across various asset types
Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where experimentation is encouraged
A curious, collaborative mindset with a passion for learning new tools and shaping the future of art creation with GenAI

Nice to Have

Experience with AI-generated art pipelines (e.g., mesh/texture upscaling, AI mesh generation)
Familiarity with real-time engines such as Unity or Unreal, or scripting for pipelines
Experience working closely with researchers or technical teams

Compensation:

$50/hr to $65/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
