Role Overview

We are seeking a freelance AI-Augmented Developer to rapidly prototype and build interactive media using cutting-edge AI tools. You will collaborate with creative and product teams to turn vision into reality, leveraging AI to accelerate development while maintaining our signature focus on human connection and storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, production-ready front-end and/or back-end code using AI-assisted development environments (e.g., Cursor, Claude, Copilot).
• Rapidly prototype, debug, and iterate on interactive media projects.
• Collaborate with creative, strategy, and product teams to deliver innovative solutions.
• Stay current with emerging AI tools and best practices.
• Build and contribute to internal systems and documentation that help us scale our process.
• Know when to use AI tools vs. when to code directly for optimal results.

Requirements

• Strong grasp of modern web architecture and styling (HTML/CSS/JS).
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools for coding and prototyping with tangible results.
• Skill in crafting effective prompts and breaking down problems for AI assistance.
• Ability to review, refactor, and improve AI-generated code for production use.
• Strong debugging skills, particularly with finding and fixing subtle issues in AI-generated code.
• Efficiency in translating between design systems and AI-assisted implementation.
• Comfort with rapid iteration, ambiguity, and creative problem-solving.
• Adaptability to emergent workflows and tooling changes.
• Bonus: familiarity with Figma, animation libraries, or Three.js.
• Passion for human-centered design and storytelling.
