Job summary

Solutions Development Corporation in Dahlgren, VA seeks a systems administrator to support Windows environments and implement RMF/STIGs. The role requires 1.5 years of experience and DoD-appropriate credentials, onsite in a secure facility.

Active CompTIA Security+ is required; salary range $70k-$90k with full benefits including health, dental/vision, 401(k) matching, PTO, and HSA contributions. Onsite work only.

Qualifications

• Active CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification.
• 1.5 years of professional systems administration experience supporting hardware, software, servers and IT infrastructure.
• Experience administering Windows 11, Windows Server 2019 and 2022 environments.
• Knowledge of system security, vulnerabilities, STIG updates, ACAS scanning, and RMF processes.
• Experience building, maintaining, troubleshooting, and modifying Windows systems.
• Experience collaborating with corporate and vendor SMEs to resolve complex technical issues.
• Experience documenting STIG-related trouble reports and supporting system modifications.
• Familiarity with DoD IA training, certification, and privileged-access requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot Windows systems to ensure high availability.
• Apply STIGs and RMF processes to secure systems.
• Collaborate with corporate and vendor SMEs to resolve complex issues.
• Document STIG-related trouble reports and system modifications.
• Support ongoing system modifications and optimization.
