Job summary

Thorn Baker Group is seeking an experienced 360 Excavator Driver to join a groundworks team in Chesterfield. You will be part of a 3-person crew, working on ducting, drainage and general groundworks with ASAP start and assignments through to March 2027.

Role requires CPCS/NPORS 360 ticket, reliable teamwork, and full PPE. Prior groundworks experience and ability to work with a small crew are essential.

• Operating a 360 excavator safely and efficiently.
• Experience with ducting and drainage works.
• Excavation and trenching duties.
• Backfilling and reinstatement as required.
• Support of Groundworkers in a 3-person team.

360 Excavator Driver – Chesterfield

Location: Chesterfield
Rate:£23/24 per hour
Start: ASAP
Duration: Until March 2027

We are currently looking for an experienced 360 Excavator Driver to join a groundworks team in Chesterfield, with work available through to March 2027.

You will be working as part of a 3-person team, alongside 2 Groundworkers, carrying out ducting, drainage and general groundworks.

Established gangs are also welcome to apply.

Duties:

• Operating a 360 excavator safely and efficiently
• Ducting and drainage works
• Excavation and trenching
• Backfilling and reinstatement works
• Supporting the Groundworkers as required
• Working as part of a 3-person groundworks team

Requirements:
