Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is hiring an OR Registered Nurse in Plymouth, MA. The position is 36 hours per week with a 6:50a–7:20p FLEX schedule, Mon–Sat with on-call coverage for 24 hours on weekends and holidays.

The role requires an active MA RN license, OR experience, and proficiency in aseptic techniques. BLS is required; CNOR and BSN are preferred. Staff may be floated as needed within the department.

Qualifications

• Current OR experience and aseptic technique knowledge are essential.
• BLS certification is required; CNOR is preferred for leadership paths.
• BSN is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for diverse surgical cases.

Job Description:

36 hpw OR RN position available. Schedule includes Monday-Saturday, 6:50a-7:20p FLEX with Call. Saturday, Sunday, and Holiday on-call schedule includes 24-hr coverage.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Massachusetts RN license.
• Current O.R. experience
• Demonstrated working knowledge of all principles of aseptic techniques
• Demonstrated working knowledge of technical skills to operate complex surgical equipment during surgical procedures: i.e. Endoscopic, Laser, ENT, Ortho, Plastic, Podiatry, Neuro, General, Thoracic, Urology, and Vascular.
• BLS required.

Recommended Requirements:

• Proven leadership experience
• Charge Nurse experience; ability to function in crisis situation.
• CNOR Certification.
• BSN preferred

As with all job assignments, staff may be floated to areas where they are needed.

Pay Range:

$37.14 - $82.22

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. The pay range for this position is established and governed by the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Employees hired into this position will receive compensation consistent with the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
