Job summary

Mercy Health Saint Mary’s is seeking a dedicated 340B Program Coordinator to manage the organization’s 340B drug discount program across qualified entities. You will ensure regulatory compliance, proper implementation, and meticulous records and documentation.

You will collaborate with the Director of Pharmacy and Shared Services Director of Accounting on coordination, education, audits, and program enhancement to maximize participation and savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Pharmacy.
• Two years of experience with multiple aspects of the 340B program.
• Mastery of advanced spreadsheet logic and database applications.
• Knowledge of health care accounting, finance and reimbursement principles.
• Ability to make sound, independent decisions, meet deadlines, and adapt to department needs.
• Preferred: Completion of Apexus 340B University.
• Preferred: Previous experience with health care auditing, healthcare compliance, program development and management.

Responsibilities

• 340B Program Coordination with the Director of Pharmacy and Shared Services Director of Accounting.
• Policy and Procedure Development according to requirements and guidelines.
• Education: ongoing training and communication for the 340B program.
• Rules/Guidance Surveillance of industry publications and peers.
• Registration/Recertification for provider sites and OPAIS updates.
• Self-Audits: develop and execute self-audits of the 340B process.
• External Audits: coordinate audits and maintain readiness.
• 340B Contract Management: review and negotiate contracts.
• Program Enhancement/Reporting: monitor reports and identify growth opportunities.
