Job summary

USA Health seeks an experienced Pharmacy Buyer to oversee 340B program integrity, retail and contract pharmacy operations, and revenue integrity. The role coordinates procurement for limited distribution drugs, manages complex vendor access, and ensures data integrity and cost savings across the system.

You will collaborate with Pharmacy IT to adjust the CDM, monitor shortages, and support annual inventory leadership while driving contract opportunities and higher net savings for the health

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years of experience as a pharmacy buyer.
• PHRMTECH-R - Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy upon hire.
• PHRMTECH-R - Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician via PTCB upon hire.
• Completion of Apexus 340B University within 180 days.

Responsibilities

• 340B Program Integrity: primary procurement liaison for limited distribution drugs and specialty meds.
• Alternative distribution, 340B data integrity, and 340B pricing support.
• Oversee 340B, GPO, and WAC account setups and vendor access.
• Manage contract pharmacy replenishment and reconcile external invoices.
• Drive revenue optimization and contract pharmacy opportunities.
• Support IT/ CDM changes and ensure correct charge amounts for financial accuracy.
• Forecast shortages and monitor wholesaler availability, lead annual inventory duties.
