Job summary

Bergen New Bridge Medical Center in Paramus, NJ is hiring a 340B Coordinator in the Pharmacy department. This full-time, on-site role focuses on 340B optimization and compliance within a hospital setting.

The position requires knowledge of 340B rules, hospital pharmacy operations, and a Certified Pharmacy Technician credential (PTCB preferred). Two+ years of technician experience is preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of 340B program rules and operating procedures.
• Knowledge of 340B hospital pharmacy and/or retail pharmacy operations.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred (PTCB).
• 2+ years Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews daily submissions to split bill vendor ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Perform manual validation sampling for inclusion/exclusion errors and coordinate with pharmacy purchaser for changes.
• Escalates error patterns to AVP Pharmacy and Informatics for resolution.
• Compile monthly reports of manual eligibility determinations to quantify savings.
• Oversees 340B rebate reporting and validates rebate amounts.
• Reviews reports on Medicaid eligibility changes and makes accumulator corrections.
