Bluebonnet Trails Community Services seeks an Operations Manager to provide strategic and project leadership across crisis-services programs from Round Rock, TX. You will translate priorities into measurable improvements in service delivery, efficiency and client outcomes.

The role drives cross-functional initiatives, data-informed decision making, and quality improvement with PMP-certified leadership and 10+ years of experience in behavioral health.

Qualifications

• PMP certification and 10+ years leading behavioral health services.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field; knowledge of mental health, substance use, crisis intervention, and community-based services.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, community-based environment; valid Texas driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic projects to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and sustainability of 24/7 crisis services.
• Evaluate workflows and implement process improvements across crisis programs.
• Serve as a project-management resource for cross-functional initiatives including planning, timelines, deliverables, risk management and stakeholder engagement.
• Develop strategy, redesign processes, workflow standardization and development of revenue opportunities.
• Collaborate with crisis services program leadership to standardize processes across 24/7 operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve coordination among crisis programs, departments, and community partners.
• Support implementation of new initiatives, workflows, technology, policies, and operational practices within crisis services.
• Maintain knowledge of behavioral health crisis systems, LMHA operations, and emerging trends in crisis service delivery.
• Serve as a project evaluator with oversight of data needs related to grant initiatives.
• Perform other strategic projects and duties as assigned.

Program Overview

Under the supervision of the Chief Crisis Programs Officer, the Operations Manager provides strategic and project leadership across crisis-services programs and exercises influence through collaboration, consultation, project governance, data collection and presentation, and operational expertise. This position serves as a subject-matter expert and internal project leader responsible for identifying opportunities to streamline and strengthen crisis-service operations, leading complex cross-function initiatives, and supporting continuous quality improvement action plans. This includes operational efficiency, revenue optimization and expense monitoring. This position works collaboratively with clinical, operational, quality, administrative, and community partners to translate organizational priorities into measurable improvements in service delivery, efficiency, compliance and client outcomes. This Project Management Professional (PMP) provides project leadership, facilitates organizational change, and influences outcomes across programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Leads strategic projects and initiatives designed to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and sustainability of 24/7 crisis services
• Evaluate existing workflows, identify operational barriers, and develop and implement process improvements across crisis programs
• Serve as a project-management resource for cross-functional initiatives includes project planning, scope development, timelines, deliverables, risk management and stakeholder engagement
• Strategy development, process redesign ,workflow standardization and development of revenue opportunities.
• Collaborate with crisis services program leadership and interdisciplinary teams to standardize processes and promote consistency across 24/7 operations
• Identify opportunities to improve coordination among crisis programs, internal departments, community partners, and other systems involved in crisis response
• Support implementation of new initiatives, workflows, technology, policies, and operational practices within crisis services
• Maintain current knowledge of behavioral health crisis systems, LMHA operations, evidence-informed practices, regularly requirements, and emerging trends in crisis service delivery
• Serve as a project evaluator with oversight of data needs related to grant initiatives
• Perform other strategic projects and duties as assigned in support of organizational and crisis operational priorities

Hours: Monday- Friday 8 am- 5 pm

Location: Round Rock, TX, will travel to other locations as needed.

Base Salary: $85,000.00 annually

Credentials

Credentials Minimum Qualifications:
Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP).
10+ years experience leading behavioral health services.
Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field and knowledge of mental health, substance use, crisis intervention, and community-based services.
Candidates must be able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, community-based environment and effectively engage individuals with complex needs.
A valid Texas driver's license and approved driving status are required.
Candidates whose degree is not in Human Services must have completed at least 24 credit hours in a human services-related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Business, Leadership, Management.
