The Merch Manager, reporting to the Store Manager, is responsible for all merchandising operations within assigned departments. Key responsibilities include:

1. Managing department layouts, signage, product features, and promotional setups.
2. Overseeing freight flow, markdowns, loss prevention, and department maintenance.
3. Acting as the Manager on Duty in the absence of the Store Manager and Co-Manager.
4. Handling HR functions such as hiring, staffing, and paperwork.
5. Ensuring store standards, policies, and procedures are followed.
6. Improving store volume, profits, shrink, employee retention, and merchandising standards.
7. Flexibility to work at different locations and possibly assist with store openings, cleanups, and inventory.
8. Effective communication with customers and team members regarding company policies and procedures.
9. Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs., walk, stand, kneel, climb, and push as needed.
10. Availability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
