Bluebonnet Trails Community Services in Bastrop, TX is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as Nurse Manager in an outpatient psychiatric/behavioral health clinic. • Support clinic flow alongside physicians and nurse practitioners.
• Adhere to agency policies; no on-call or weekend work required.

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the Nurse Manager, and the Regional Clinic Director, this RN will provide support for psychiatric and behavioral health services in an outpatient clinic based in Bastrop. This nurse is a part of the multidisciplinary team to support individuals in services.

• Patient assessment: obtain vital signs, weight, height, BMI, and stage medication consents.
• Documentation and medication management: record information in the electronic medical record, obtain medication authorizations, administer injections, perform venipuncture, administer urine drug screens and pregnancy tests.
• Education: provide nutrition, medication, diagnosis, and other health‑related education to patients.
• Maintain structured clinic flow by supporting prescribing physicians and nurse practitioners.
• Adhere to agency policies and procedures. No on‑call or weekend work is expected or required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse.
• At least two years of experience working as an RN.
• Valid Texas driver’s license and maintain approved driver’s status throughout employment.
• Preferred: At least two years of experience providing behavioral health services in outpatient, inpatient, residential, or clinic settings.
• Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish and/or ASL.

Compensation

Hourly Salary Range: $49.21 – $54.96 per hour. Differential: $1.00/hour for previous experience in a similar role, up to $4.00/hour for tenure with BTCS, $0.75/hour for bilingual.
