Job summary

General Motors LLC in Arlington, TX is seeking a Maintenance Group Leader to oversee a small to medium team of salaried leaders responsible for the maintenance and repair of plant equipment and facilities in a fast-paced production environment. You will coordinate preventative and predictive maintenance, interpret technical docs, lead safety initiatives, and drive continuous improvement across three shifts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing maintenance activities and hourly personnel.
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and rotate across 3 shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and coordinate work to support production schedules and minimize downtime.
• Support predictive and preventive maintenance strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead maintenance group leaders across 3 shifts.
• Ensure maintenance activities are performed safely and in compliance with GM standards.
• Lead GM S & BPD activities.
• Drive workplace safety system elements and training for the team.
