Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience with machining processes and shop operations.
• 3+ years of experience leading teams in production or machine shop environments.
• Strong knowledge of machining operations, tooling, planning, and workflow optimization.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across functions.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to manage costs, prioritize work, and drive productivity improvements.
• Ability to work in office and indoor factory environments.
• Regular sitting, standing, walking, reading, listening, and talking required.
• Lift up to 35 pounds unassisted.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop machinists, operators, planners, programmers, and staff.
• Manage machine shop operations across 3 shifts and allocate resources.
• Develop, update, and execute production schedules; monitor progress.
• Drive on-time delivery, productivity, and OEE improvement; manage inventories.
• Partner with EH&S to maintain safety culture and compliance.
• Implement ISO-aligned standard work and inspection practices.
• Oversee machine maintenance, TPM, 6S, and evaluate new equipment.
• Monitor expenses and support budgeting for the machine shop.
• Recruit, train, and develop employees; address personnel issues.
• Drive continuous improvement through lean methods and cross-functional collaboration.
