Job summary

ViziRecruiter, LLC is seeking a diligent Maintenance Engineer to oversee HVAC, boiler operations and building systems in our White Plains facilities. You will perform rounds, inspect equipment, operate controls, and respond to alarms across three shifts.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, fire safety inspections, lab HVAC work, and collaboration with contractors. Strong knowledge of building automation, safety practices, and the ability to work under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Trade school graduate or 2 years' experience on boilers and HVAC equipment or adequate experience and training as determined by the Director of Engineer.
• Applicable City of White Plains licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct rounds for equipment inspections on all shifts; read gauges/meters to assess conditions.
• Inspect and test fire alarm, sprinkler, hydrants; replace/repair as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems and related components.
• Operate boiler systems; monitor water levels, psi, and safety controls.
• Maintain absorbers; take readings and report abnormal findings.
