Curtze Food Service in Erie, PA is hiring a second-shift full-time meat packer for our USDA-inspected facility, Specialty Steak Service. The role involves packaging meat per standards, standing for long shifts, and handling cold environments with possible heavy lifting. Training is provided with no prior experience required.

Qualifications

Curtze Food Service in Erie, PA is seeking to hire a second-shift full-time meat packer. We operate a protein facility known as Specialty Steak Service. The full-time meat packer will efficiently package all meat products according to company standards in our USDA-inspected facility.

Position requires bending, stooping, twisting, reaching above and across, using repetitive motion, heavy lifting, and ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours daily. The Packer Trimmer will be exposed routinely to adverse temperatures from cold 20-40°F, damp/wet, to freezing temperatures. This position requires use of sharp cutting tools.

Our ideal candidate will have relatable work experience and withstand a cool and freezing work environment.

Wage: $20.10 Shift: Sunday through Thursday, 3:30 P.M. – 12:00 A.M.

On-The-Job Training…no previous experience necessary.
