Thomson Reuters Corp. is hiring a #3 Press Operator for our Eagan, Minnesota printing plant. You will operate state-of-the-art offset and digital web presses as part of the Core Publishing Solutions team, with a 2:30 pm – 10:30 pm second shift and occasional overtime or weekend work.

Eligible for bonuses after 90 days and shift differentials of $4.00/hr (2nd shift) and $5.00/hr (3rd shift). You will read job specifications, set up and run jobs, perform quality checks, and assist in maintaining

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher; vocational/technical degree preferred.
• Experience in industrial settings with maintenance and troubleshooting on production machinery.
• Strong mechanical/technical skills; comfortable with rulers and measurements.
• Knowledge of electrical safety and safe work practices; PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Assist the crew on the press, perform setup and production activities.
• Read DSR and job specifications; stage materials for jobs.
• Quality check products; complete transactions, bundle, tag items.
• Fill in for Lead/Mid-Level Operators during absences.
• Monitor equipment; maintain work area and document activities in Tier Boards and SAP/MII.

**#3 Press Operator, 2nd Shift**We are hiring a Press Operator for our printing plant team in Eagan, Minnesota. As a **#3 Press Operator,** you will be responsible for working as a member of our Core Publishing Solutions team providing operational management and technical support. You will be operating state-of-the-art offset and digital web presses. For this role, you would also be eligible for $2,400 in bonuses upon being in the role for 90 days, another. **Hours of Work – Eagan, Minnesota*** 2nd shift – 2:30 pm – 10:30 pm* Occasional overtime up to 4 hours per day and occasional weekend shifts **Key Responsibilities**In this opportunity as a #3 Press Operator, you will be responsible for:* Assisting the crew on the press, performing setup and production activities, typically on the back-end of the presses to ensure the press is running smoothly* Preparing for upcoming jobs by reading the DSR and job specifications, as well as staging materials* Quality checking products for our customers, completing transactions, bundling and tagging products* Filling in for Lead and Mid-Level Operators as needed including covering absences or breaks* Monitoring equipment and product quality, housekeeping procedures to maintain work area and equipment, documenting activities on Tier Boards and in relevant systems (MII, SAP), i.e., material usage, equipment issues, and troubleshooting when necessary* Using safety equipment to comply with state and federal regulations, reporting all safety and environmental hazards, and attending safety and environmental training programs to ensure compliance and culture of safety **Required Qualifications**You’re a fit for the role of #3 Press Operator if you have the following required qualifications:* Possess a High School Diplo ma or higher. The base compensation range varies across locations.For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation hourly range for this role is $18 USD - $34 USD.Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity.
