Job summary

American Wood Fibers (AWF) in Laurinburg, NC is seeking a Second Shift Yard Jockey & Raw Material Operator to unload trailers and feed raw materials to production systems.

This full-time, in-person role requires operating mobile equipment safely, following SOPs, keeping the yard and raw room organized, and collaborating with the raw room operator and team. Shift is Sunday-Thursday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience operating mobile equipment safely.
• Ability to unload trailers and supply raw materials.
• Ability to climb ladders and work on elevated platforms.
• Willingness to work Sunday-Thursday 3:00PM-11:30PM.

Responsibilities

• Unload raw material trailers and supply materials to systems.
• Maintain mobile equipment per SOP and perform routine service.
• Keep the raw room and work area organized; assist as needed.
• Support the raw room operator/yardman as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE in a high-dust environment.
