Job summary

GALLO, a family‑owned company with a 90+ year legacy, is seeking a dependable yard driver to move goods across our facility. You will operate forklifts and yard trucks, transport trailers, inspect equipment, and perform routine maintenance to keep operations safe and efficient.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs. Shift is 2nd, with overtime and potential harvest season duties; on-site work only.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or state equivalency plus 2 years yard driver/truck experience with tractor trailers.
• Must have valid driver’s license and safe driving record; may require state license within 30 days of hire.
• Must be at least 21 years old; basic math and writing skills.
• Must comply with GMP policies; able to work shifts including overtime; capable of lifting up to 55 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Drive yard trucks and operate forklifts to move goods and materials across the facility.
• Transport empty and full trailers; move pallets around the yard and perform equipment inspections.
• Perform routine maintenance on yard trucks and operate a dump truck during harvest season.
• Support warehouse duties as needed and follow safety protocols to protect team and property.
