Job summary

Family Dollar in Maquoketa, IA is seeking a warehouse associate to coordinate inbound storage and flow-through of merchandise. You will manage setup in Catalyst, report trailer movements, and keep the storage log accurate for daily operations.

This full-time role requires attention to inventory adjustments, familiarity with Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic Windows; forklift experience with Manup equipment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School preferred.
• Experience: Four to six months clerical or similar work in a Retail Distribution Center or Warehouse environment preferred. Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows. Working knowledge of WMS preferred.
• Communication: Must communicate effectively with co-workers and management.
• Equipment: Various software programs, computer printouts, binders, tape measure, stapler, calculator, box knife, computer, telephone, pens, copier, fax machine, and/or clipboard. PPE per center requirements.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to frequently lift/move up to 10 lbs, etc.
• Working Conditions: Climate controlled office; possible exposure to DC conditions, weather, noise, OSHA-regulated hazards; possible off-shift overtime.

Responsibilities

• Set up all flow-thru and storage items in Catalyst.
• Report flow-thru and storage trailer movements to management via a daily log.
• Reconcile storage log daily to ensure all trailers are accounted for.
• Monitor Ad Items to ensure availability for scheduled ship date.
• Perform inventory adjustments for flow-thru and storage items.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Other duties as assigned
