Job summary

Family Dollar seeks a reliable team member for the Inventory Control Center, on 2nd shift (Mon–Thu, 7pm–5:30am). The role maintains data integrity, reconciles documents, and supports accurate inventory results in a climate controlled environment.

You will optimize pick locations, handle PIT equipment, and ensure safety as part of daily routines. The ideal candidate has minimal clerical experience, familiar with Word/Excel/Outlook, and a basic understanding of WMS.

Qualifications

• Education: High school preferred.
• Experience: Four to six months clerical or similar work in a Retail Distribution or Warehouse.
• Basic Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows; WMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assigns pick locations for optimization and accuracy.
• Performs DC allocation processes efficiently.
• Reconciles receiving documents to accounting reports.
• Verifies inventory locations and resolves issues across areas.
• Counts locations and updates reports; performs daily PIT checklist.
• Operates PIT equipment and adheres to safety policies.
• Maintains confidentiality and promotes a safe work environment.
• Follows company policies and performs other duties as assigned.
