Full-time onsite:

  1. Due to the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite, this role will be performed full-time at a BAE Systems facility.
  2. This is a 2nd shift (Weekday Nights) position.

Our Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) team educates and mentors colleagues to deliver leading Electronic Warfare capabilities. We welcome big ideas, innovation, and passion for safety and success.

Team Responsibilities

You will be part of manufacturing engineering leadership within a microelectronics manufacturing cell, supporting a full factory team on the 2nd shift. Your role involves supporting front-line issues, continuous improvement activities, and supporting factory-wide initiatives. You will provide leadership and mentorship to a team of 5-10 employees, implementing innovative solutions to improve yield, reduce costs, and enhance delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Support bonding cell processes, including development, sustainment, and improvement of manual and automated machinery.
  • Assist in nonconforming material review, FAI support, and design of custom fixtures.
  • Support production goals and drive process improvements.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related Technical field with 6+ years of process engineering experience.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate leadership.
  • Strong communication skills for data presentation and collaboration.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with wire/ribbon bonding processes and equipment.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and experience with Six Sigma projects preferred.
  • Proficiency with Windows applications (Word, Excel) and computer-controlled equipment.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of hybrid multichip module design.
  • Experience with Gage R+R, Design Of Experiments, and automated inspection equipment.
  • Experience training engineers and operators in complex assembly processes.
Pay and Benefits

Salary range: $115,779 - $196,825, based on market and qualifications.
