Job summary

Melaleuca: The Wellness Company is hiring a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift (2:45 pm - 1:15 am) in Idaho Falls. You will hook up vats, prep lines, operate filling equipment, and ensure quality throughout the shift.

You will receive a starting pay of $18.00 per hour with a longevity bonus, profit sharing after 6 months, a monthly product voucher, and opportunities for advancement within a clean, climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and meet production goals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 65 lbs consistently for eight hours.
• Ability to operate and adjust mechanical equipment.
• Good reading, writing and basic math for reporting.
• High manual dexterity for cleaning and assembling.
• Standing and walking for the duration of shift.

Responsibilities

• Hook up vats or tanks on the line.
• Prepare tuber or filling lines; adjust height, heat and caps.
• Clean VideoJet head; verify labels and rails.
• Operate filling lines; check fill levels and codes; box and palletize.
• Complete reports with product name, quantity, date and shift.
• Assist in training other associates as needed.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance and cleaning.
• Ensure quality and proper lot sequencing.
• Record data in the computer as required.
• Oversee cleanliness of machine and floor; changeovers.
