Job summary

Pro Resources Staffing Services is seeking a 1st shift welder at a local Fort Wayne facility. Welding with MIG, reading blueprints, and possibly forklift operation to move materials are key duties. The 2nd shift runs 4:30pm – 3am, Monday – Thursday, with training on 1st shift (6am-4:30pm). Pay is $20.00 per hour.

Minimum requirements include 3 years of welding experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, steel-toed boots, and an on-site welding test with personal equipment.

• Own welding equipment; on-site weld test required.

• Steel-toed boots required.

Responsibilities

• MIG weld components using welding equipment.
• Read and understand blueprints and work instructions.
• Inspect welds and rework as needed.

• Read weld symbols and blueprints.
• May operate forklift to move materials.

They have serviced the needs of the aerospace, orthopedic implant, power generation, military, and automotive industries. They provide CNC cutting of all materials from foam to titanium. This company is looking for a 1st shift candidate for Forklift operating. 2nd Shift: 4:30pm – 3am, Monday – ThursdayWill train on 1st shift: 6am-4:30pm Pay: $20.00

Job Duties

• MIG Weld together components using gas, metal, and arc-welding equipment
• Read and understand blueprints and work instructions
• Inspect welds and reword as needed
• Operate grinders, cut-off wheels, etc.
• Read print reading/weld symbols
• May be required to operate fork truck to move materials

Minimum Requirements

• Steel toed boots
• 3 years of welding experience
• Lifting up to 50 lbs
• Must have own welding equipment: on-site weld test required
• Comfortable with welding in tight spaces
