Job summary

Chart, Inc. is seeking a skilled welder for 2nd shift to join our manufacturing team. You will operate cranes and forklifts, perform welding of structural materials, and maintain accurate records while following safety procedures.

Training will be provided to achieve welding qualifications including 2G/3G/6G tests. Qualified candidates have a High School diploma or GED and can pass 3G welding tests; proficiency in blueprint reading and welding symbols is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass a 3G structural welding test.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and welding symbols; knowledge of welding best practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes, hand tools and forklifts.
• Weld structural material per established processes with minimal supervision.
• Maintain records and keep work area clean.
• Monitor equipment and report maintenance needs; assist others learning welding skills.
• Complete safety procedures and company training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
