Job summary

FOX Factory, Inc. in Coldwater, MI is seeking a 2nd shift Welder to join our manufacturing team. You will weld metal components together using brazing, gas welding, and arc welding processes, fabricating or repairing parts per layouts, blueprints, or work orders.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years of welding experience, strong attention to detail, and knowledge of welding safety. HS diploma or equivalent is required; technical training or certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of welding processes and safety practices.
• HS Diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welds metal parts together using gas welding or brazing and any combination of arc welding processes.
• Performs related tasks, such as thermal cutting and grinding.
• Repairs broken or cracked parts, fills holes, and increases size of metal parts.
• Positions and clamps together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding.
• May locate and repair cracks in engine cylinder heads, using inspection equipment.
