Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. is seeking a skilled 2nd Shift Welder with MIG and TIG welding experience for aluminum and steel components. You will set up equipment, read blueprints, and weld to exact specifications while maintaining quality and safety.

The role requires adaptability to changing priorities, basic math and measurement skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. 1–3 years of welding experience is preferred; High School Diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Welder must be proficient in MIG and TIG welding.
• Able to read blueprints and interpret drawings.
• Good basic math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate MIG/TIG welding equipment according to schedules.
• Adjust machine settings for weld quality and conformance.
• Weld and assemble components using blueprints or work instructions.
• Conduct destructive weld testing as required.
• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and quality.
• Create samples and prototypes for new products.
• Complete documentation and records accurately.
• Maintain a safe, clean 5S-compliant work environment.
• Report machine or tooling issues to Production Manager.
• Adapt to changing tasks and priorities as needed.
