Job summary

APX is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented MIG Welder for 2nd shift to support our fabrication shop operations. You will read blueprints, perform MIG welding on mild steel, aluminum, and stainless-steel components, and grind welds for a clean finish.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, at least 2 years of MIG welding experience, and the ability to read calipers and tape measures. You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment as part of a collaborative team.

APX is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented MIG Welder for 2nd shift to support our fabrication shop operations. This role is responsible for welding and assembling metal components based on specifications and production needs. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, consistent in quality, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions to execute welding tasks accurately.
• Perform MIG welding, primarilyon mild steel, aluminum, and stainless-steel sheet metal components.
• Utilize grinders to smooth welds and remove excess material or spatter, ensuring precision and quality.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in MIG welding.
• Strong ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, calipers, tape measures, and angle gauges.
• Capable of working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving manufacturing setting.
