Job summary

Cleaver-Brooks, Inc. in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Welder/Fabricator for the 2nd shift (3:30pm–12:00am). Fabricate and weld pressure vessels per ASME code, in a facility emphasizing safety, quality and lean practices.

Ideal candidates have GMAW/TIG/SMAW experience, blueprint reading skills, and the ability to use cranes and ladders. High school or GED is required; a welding tech degree is preferred. Overtime may be required, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience with GMAW and GTAW welding processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and process sheets.
• Willing to learn weld certifications and 5S/Lean practices.
• Pass a 6G welding test according to ASME code preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld pressure vessels per ASME code.
• Operate overhead crane, scissor lift, ladders and scaffolding as needed.
• Read blueprints and ensure safety, quality and production standards.
• Support lean manufacturing initiatives and 5S housekeeping.
