Job summary

Cleaver-Brooks is seeking a Welder/Fabricator on 2nd shift in Lincoln, NE. You will fabricate and weld pressure vessels per ASME code, using MIG/TIG/SMAW and related processes, with the ability to read blueprints and process sheets.

Responsibilities include operating cranes and lifts, following 5S and Lean practices, and ensuring safety and quality while supporting continuous production. Requires welding experience and appropriate training; 3:30pm–12:00am shift and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and 2 year degree in Welding Technology preferred; math and reading skills required.
• Gas Metal Arc Welding experience preferred; TIG and SMAW experience with ability to pass 6G ASME test preferred.
• Able to read blueprints and process sheets accurately preferred.
• Experience with measurement tools preferred.
• Metal fabrication experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld pressure vessels and related components per ASME code.
• Operate overhead crane, scissor lift, scaffolding & ladders as needed.
• Read blueprints and process sheets accurately.
• Adhere to 5S housekeeping and Lean Manufacturing practices.
• Maintain safety, quality and production standards.
