Job summary

Serco is seeking a full-time Welder for the 2nd shift in Two Harbors, MN. Hours are Mon-Thu 3:30pm-2:00am. You will set up components, perform wire feed welding, and follow blueprints to ensure quality.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and at least 6 months of welding experience or a completed welding course, plus ability to read drawings. Serco offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 6 months welding experience or completion of a welding course.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Set up and align components using calipers, rulers and other measuring tools.
• Wire feed weld components in vertical, horizontal or overhead positions.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
• Test and inspect welded surfaces for quality.
• Follow blueprints and interpret symbols, and perform related duties.
