Job summary

Lake Air Products is seeking 2nd shift welders to join the Little Chute, WI location. If you have experience with TIG/MIG, robotic welding, and enjoy hands-on work, this role may be a fit for you.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of Robotic, TIG, MIG, and Tack-weld experience; TIG preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform measurements.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift and use PPE.

• Observe weld tests such as hydrostatic and X-ray inspections.
• Develop templates or tooling to hold and align parts.
• Select equipment and welding methods using metallurgy and welding knowledge.
• Inspect finished welds against samples and tolerances.
• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.

Salary Range: $23.00 To $28.00 Hourly

Shift Differential - additional $1.50 on top of base pay rate for all 2nd shift work!

Position Summary

We are looking for 2nd Shift Welders to join our Little Chute, WI location. If you have TIG/MIG/Robotic experience and enjoy working with your hands, this could be a great position for you.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, and secure parts and assemblies according to specifications, using straightedge, combination square, calipers, and ruler
• Observe tests on welded surfaces, such as hydrostatic, x-ray, and dimension tolerance
• Develops templates or tooling and other work aids to hold and align parts.
• Determines required equipment and welding methods, applying knowledge of metallurgy, geometry, and welding techniques.
• Examining finished products and spare parts and comparing them with samples to check whether the specifications are met.
• Inspects grooves, angles, or gap allowances, using measuring instruments
• welding metal, such as fusing metal segments, using gas tungsten arc, metal arc, flux-cored arc, plasma arc, and other types of welding arcs

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in Robotic, TIG, MIG, and Tack-weld (TIG welding preferred)
• Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team
• Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a commitment to the mission
• Ability to weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Lift objects up to 50 pounds throughout the day
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Reading blueprints and performing all necessary measurements
