Job summary

Shambaugh & Son L.P. is seeking a 2nd Shift Welder for our Fire Fabrication shop. You will use a universal welder to make cuts and welds on steel pipe, reading blueprints and setting up equipment for high-quality welds.

The role requires 4+ years of welding experience, ability to read a tape measure, and willingness to work Saturdays. Safety and reliability are essential, with lifting up to 50 lbs and long shifts as necessary.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of welding experience.
• Read a tape measure.
• Pipe welding and welding certificates a plus.
• Be dependable and have good attendance.
• Positive attitude, good work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Able to communicate ideas, thoughts, etc. both verbally and in written form.
• Must be able to work Saturdays.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Attention to detail; follow directions and communicate with others.
• Able to push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Stand, bend, twist, and walk for 8-12 hour shifts.
• Pass a drug test.
• Regular attendance and ability to work extended hours and weekends.
