Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or production operator experience.
• Previous investment casting, foundry, or wax injection experience preferred.
• Experience using hand tools, inspection tools, racks, tables, boxes, and production equipment.
• Knowledge of measuring and gaging equipment, including calipers, height stands, and bridge gauges.
• Understanding of basic manufacturing principles, including flow characteristics, pressure, viscosity, and process control.
• Experience working in a safety-focused production environment.

Responsibilities

• Inject wax patterns, gates, and sprues using both light and heavy dies.
• Operate wax injection presses and related equipment efficiently and safely.
• Maintain wax levels in presses and melting pots to support continuous production.
• Inspect patterns, gating systems, and sprues to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Clean plugs and perform routine wax preparation activities.
• Assist engineering and maintenance teams in maintaining equipment performance and process consistency.
• Conduct basic press inspections, including checks of seals, filters, oil levels, and other operating components.
• Support press calibration activities and assist with engineering validation efforts.
• Run and support engineering trials involving wax parameters, pins, cores, and process improvements.
• Ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) and engineering procedures are followed consistently.
• Organize work areas to maximize efficiency, throughput, quality, and safety.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records as required.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Follow all company safety policies, environmental requirements, and hazardous material handling procedures.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
