Job summary

Pegasus Northwest, Inc. in Kent, WA is seeking an experienced WaterJet Operator for our 2nd shift team in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.

You will program, set up, and operate CNC waterjet equipment, inspect parts, ensure quality, and maintain safety. Training provided; shift is 3 pm–1:30 am, Monday–Thursday; benefits include Health Benefits, 401K, Personal Time, Holiday Pay, On-Site Gym, and Wellness Programs.

Qualifications

• Experience with waterjet machines and software preferred; training provided.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of working independently and prioritizing duties.
• Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude.
• Must be able to stand for long shifts (approximately 10 hours).

Responsibilities

• Inspect machine for cleanliness, wear, and parts condition.
• Review work orders and ensure accuracy before proceeding.
• Set up and adjust nozzle, abrasive metering disk, and programs.
• Program CNC controller, calculate offsets, and verify part zero.
• Monitor feeds, speeds, and cutter compensation to maintain quality.
• Document parts cut, rejects, and inventory as required.
• Inspect for leaks, wear, and safety while maintaining records.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and report to supervisor as needed.
• Maintain safety procedures and shift-to-shift communication.
