Job summary

Kirby Risk Electrical Supply is seeking a Weekend/2nd Shift Warehouse Team Lead to support the Indianapolis, IN distribution center. This hands‑on leadership role focuses on training, coaching, and balancing daily workload while driving safe, efficient operations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in warehouse settings, with at least 1 year in Kirby Risk or the electrical distribution industry, and a proven track record of developing team members. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of warehouse and/or light manufacturing experience.
• 1+ year of experience within Kirby Risk, electrical distribution, or the wire industry.
• Demonstrated experience training and developing team members.
• Strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and process adherence.
• Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts as needed.
• Computer proficiency; experience with Eclipse or WMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train, teach, and mentor warehouse team members
• Lead shift start meetings and assign, monitor, and balance daily workloads
• Maintain a consistent and efficient workflow throughout the day
• Develop, update, and reinforce warehouse processes and procedures
• Communicate and follow up with multiple departments and functions
• Build cross‑functional teamwork and support employee engagement and morale
• Support quality control standards and safe work practices
• Work alongside the team as a hands‑on leader to meet operational goals
