Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or warehouse experience preferred.

• Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and safety policies.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite to monitor records.
• Union environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize and supervise dock staff and warehouse associates during the shift.
• Assist in hiring and training of dock staff and warehouse associates.
• Oversee loading and unloading of freight to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Lead and motivate a team of dock and warehouse staff.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process changes.
• Resolve conflicts and issues as needed.
• Manage daily end-of-shift reports and performance updates.
• Coordinate with on-site customers and operations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
