Job summary

Kent Quality Foods is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations at our Hudsonville, MI location. You will guide a warehouse team, manage materials flow, improve safety and efficiency, and support shipping, receiving, inventory, and production needs.

This second-shift role runs Monday through Friday, starting at 2:00 pm with typical 8–10 hour shifts; occasional Saturday work may be required to support production and inventory activities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safe warehouse practices and OSHA compliance.
• Experience leading and coaching warehouse staff.
• Experience with ERP systems and warehouse software.
• Experience with inventory control, cycle counts and audits.
• Forklift certification and safe equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support, train, and coach warehouse team members in daily operations.
• Promote a safe warehouse by reinforcing safe work practices and completing inspections.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, material transfers, and internal transportation resources.
• Maintain accurate inventory through ERP transactions, cycle counts, audits, and FIFO.
• Stage and expedite materials to support production schedules and minimize downtime.
• Monitor warehouse performance metrics like on-time shipments and productivity.
• Support process improvements, 5S, housekeeping and continuous improvement.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment as needed.
• Complete daily end-of-shift checklists and communicate issues and priorities.
